How to make your own B Vitamins
As some of you know I strongly advocate in empowering ourselves in all aspects of our lives and here is a very cost effective and bioavailable way to make your own B Vitamins.
I find this concoction very agreeable even without flavorings of any kind. However not all may like the taste.
Highly encourage all to try this as there is nothing like knowing form were all (most) sources that you are eating our coming from.
Yeast contains the B vitamins, proteins, and various energy-giving factors still only partially known to science. There is nothing else we have found which will pep you up as fast as yeast, make you feel better, and keep you going strong."

Dried yeast powder & tablets cause aftertaste and indigestion, and are expensive. You can buy fresh compressed block yeast at bakery shops for a few cents a pound. Tell them that you are going to eat it, and you want the freshest they have. You mustn't eat it raw. It has to be cooked to kill the fermentation, otherwise you will have gas, and will not properly digest it.
To cook a pound of yeast, bring 1 cup of water to the boil in a pot on low heat, put in the yeast about 1/4 pound at a time and stir constantly, adding more yeast as it melts. After it is all melted, keep stirring a little longer until it puffs up and begins to boil. Put it in a little Pyrex measuring pitcher, cover with foil and put it in the refrigerator, where it will keep fine for a month or more if you don't foul it by drinking out of it or dipping into it with a spoon.
You can flavor it with honey, molasses, vanilla, or whatever you like. Pour yourself a few spoonsful each day, so one person would use up the pound in three to four weeks. You can take it straight from a spoon, or mix it into a beverage or food.
Yeast contains the B vitamins, proteins, and various energy-giving factors still only partially known to science. There is nothing else we have found which will pep you up as fast as yeast, make you feel better, and keep you going strong. It reduces the body's demand for blood flow, thereby reducing the work the heart has to do, letting it tick along in an easy regular way. Many people think they have a bad heart, with an irregular skipping pulse and a fluttery full feeling in the upper chest, when all they need is a little help from yeast. It seems to help people sleep better also.

If one should wish to comment on a story, I would believe you should keep it relevant to the topic. Or else your comment which is viewed by others will be viewed as "noise". With your particular view as it is, it may be best to become a published source as many are doing today. In conclusion your information to me, has some merit, however again I feel it best, to be placed in the right arena.

Factual information on health, vitamins, also info on scams and fraud put forth by the drug industry, their marionnettes and supporting politicians, assists me to assist others. Prophecies by alleged "gifted" persons who have contact with beings from other galaxies are not helpful. Nor am I able to verify the info.

Hi Chris,
Just new here. Very interesting site. Thank you.
Could you tell me please how "Torula" and "Brewers" yeast differ from "Bakers" yeast and the relative merits.
Adele Davis who I read and followed a few years ago wrote very favourably about Torula.
I thank you for any enlightenment you may provide

I found this article on compressed block yeast very helpful and a inexpensive way for me to get my B vitamins..tyvm.
I was wondering if I would still need to supplement with folate acid powder, another article i read from here,, or if I would be getting folate from the yeast? Also since vitamin B3 is good for arthritis would this be adaquate in this form to be of benefit concerning arthritis ?
I can not thank you enough for you site..it has provided me with alternative ways of dealing in every respect.
Thank you for being .
:)

What percentages of the B-vitamins are present in 1 oz. of the liquid that results from boiling yeast to get the B-vitamins? Just curious as to how much to take in each 24 hour period.
