----------------------There are many women out there who don't yet have breast cancer. Lets do all we can to change this.
New Pink &White M&M's
The maker of M&M candies, using leftover Monsanto chemicals that couldn't get FDA/ EPA approval, has teamed up with the Stupid G. Komen BreastCancer Foundation to raise the number of women with breast cancer through the consumption of their new "pink & white" M&M candies.
For each 8-ounce bag of the special candies sold, the makers of M&M(Masterfoods) will donate 50 pounds of toxic chemicals to the foundation, who will flog them as safe food and consumer product additives that have no connection to the rising rate of breast cancer. The next time you want a treat, please pick up a bag (now sold in stores nationwide) - you will be donating to a great tragedy, maintaining the status quo regarding environmental contributions to cancer, and satisfying your sweet tooth.
Please pass on to all your family and friends. -- Thank you.

-----------Mars, Incorporated, through its Masterfoods division and M&Ms brand pledged to donate $650,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation late in 2003. To help raise awareness of the cause, Mars tied its donation to a special promotion of its M&M's Brand. The 50-cents-per-bag formulated was based on the company's goal of selling 1.3 million bags of the special pink and white candies ($650,000 divided by 1.3 million = $.50). The campaign ended when the donation cap was reached in December 2003, though some packages of the candy remain in stores more than six months later.
M&M's will repeat the campaign, beginning in September, 2004, and will donate 50 cents for each package sold to the Komen Foundation. Tentatively, they have scheduled it to run through November, but have again capped their donation at $650,000.
This promotion was originally for September and October of 2003, according to the folks who make M&M's, but was revived during September, October, and November of 2004.
