Mercury To Blame For Diabetes Epidemic, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Autism

Mercury is a highly toxic substance yet we freely inject quantities of it into helpless infants, we plaster people's teeth with a metal mixture that contains up to 50% of the poisonous stuff, and we allow emission of thousands of tons of mercury vapors into the air and into rivers every year, which we then ingest with fish and other foods.

At times it would seem that we may be hell-bent on a self-destructive course.

Mercury is Rising Everywhere

If mercury is the source of autism, it may be for Alzheimer's disease and diabetes as well as a long list of other neurological disorders.

There are some concerns starting to be expressed about the fact that mercury in emissions is being proposed as another cause of autism. Some vaccine people are feeling like this is a smoke screen for the issues of thimerosal causing autism, and will diminish their stance on that issue. But this could not be further from the truth. Mercury is toxic from whatever source it arrives into our bodies though some forms do seem more dangerous than others. Those who have dedicated their lives to the vaccine question must realize that the source matters not as much as the damage it causes. All sources must be taken into account and stopped if we are to protect our children from harm.

Children’s systems are under a broad mercury attack from each source and type of mercury. The age when exposed, the mode of contamination, and each person’s metabolism and biological defenses combine setting the stage for different pathologies.

For a while it was assumed that the greatest source of mercury poisoning and thus source of autism was the mercury in vaccines but, according to Dr. Gary Gordon, one of the original founders of chelation therapy, “There are children getting autism who did not receive injectable mercury.” Dr. Raymond Palmer, of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, has studied the contribution of the huge tonnage of mercury being put into the atmosphere and found, in studying school districts in Texas that, “On average, for each 1,000 pounds of environmentally released mercury, there was a 43 percent increase in the rate of special education services and a 61 percent increase in the rate of autism."[i] A Harvard study, commissioned and paid for by the EPA, concluded also in early 2005 that mercury controls similar to those the EPA originally proposed could save nearly $5 billion a year through reduced neurological and cardiac harm.[ii] What Harvard is saying, and what the EPA purposely ignored, is that this 5 billion represents a staggering amount of suffering, any they are measuring only a fraction of the total mercury being released into the global winds.

Doctors and patients alike need to be well advised that all efforts to derail the monumental chemical buildup have failed and thus people will increasingly be showing the direct effects of chemical poisoning in their signs and symptoms.

Dr. Palmer found that those districts with the highest levels of mercury in the environment also had the highest rates of special education students with autism diagnosis. This would explain why California has the highest autism rates. California is known to have the highest environmental burden of mercury of any state in the country. Part of the reason for that probably is the mercury blowing in on the high winds from China where they have been putting up new coal burning mercury polluting electrical plants at a fantastic pace. China spews 600 tons of mercury into the air each year, accounting for a great part of the world's non-natural emissions.[iii] Mankind is just beginning to wake up to a nightmare unseen in his darkest dreams, the Hun Hordes of Mercury.

Crematoria warned over mercury: Crematoria contribute 16% of the UK's mercury emissions. Strict rules for crematoria to limit mercury pollution caused when tooth fillings are vaporized have been announced by ministers.

Mercury is a dramatically rising tide. Tomorrow we will wake up to a world with 15 to 20 tons more of it. Considering what has already been released into the environment this past century, and considering a ton is a million grams and a gram could potentially kill a human being if vaporized directly into the lungs, it is not too hard to see that an invisible cloud of mercury radiation is blanketing and contaminating the earth and effecting the most vulnerable part of our race, our children. Researchers from all over the globe are posting information about the chemical hazard that sits like a background radiation cloud across our once pristine planet. Dr. Dick Deth from Northeastern University obviously was of similar mind as Dr. Palmer and medical scientists at Harvard saying, “The recent increase in the incidence of autism led us to speculate that environmental exposures, including vaccine additives might contribute to the triggering of this disorder.”

One estimate of the total annual global mercury input to the atmosphere from all sources including natural, anthropogenic, and oceanic emissions in 1995 was 5,500 tons.[iv]

The FDA says that 2 to 3 thousand tons[v] of metallic mercury is being released into the air from manmade sources. Chemical radioactivity is an appropriate phrase to describe what the situation is with mercury and other chemicals that are causing disease rates to soar through the stratosphere. And what has already arrived gets worse with the hundreds of millions of tons of toxic chemicals that get produced and added to the human biosphere each year. Everyone now has to live and breathe in the context of a dangerous chemical cloud with radioactive like fallout that penetrates our human skin. Having failed to destroy ourselves with radioactive clouds from atomic bombs we have managed to muddle through and threaten ourselves through chemical means. Mercury pollution specifically is the principal immediate threat that, similar to radioactive substances after an atomic war, is penetrating through everything. In fact, the FDA itself says, “Mercury is everywhere!”[vi]

Mercury contamination can have effects similar to lead poisoning, effectively resulting in a loss of intelligence. The higher children's blood mercury levels are, the poorer their language skills, attention span and information-processing.

According to the Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) about 100 million Americans, more than one-third of the population, suffer from some form of chronic disease like asthma, diabetes, cancer, heart and kidney disease or arthritis. Almost 100 percent of these people are suffering from chemical poisoning with mercury poison taking the lead in breaking through their biological defenses. In reality we have a tidal wave of effects that are only just beginning to be seen. The average adult inhales many thousands of trillions of mercury atoms a day from a mouth full of amalgam, fish provide trillions more, the air more, and in children, vaccines provide one day surges of vast trillions of mercury molecules in the form of ethyl-mercury, which is vastly more toxic than metallic mercury. Insulin is directly assaulted as are insulin receptor sites and this is central to a broad range of serious chronic disorders.

If you don't have enough insulin or the ability to respond to insulin is impaired, then neurons will not function well and they probably will die.

 Significant new discoveries about insulin may shed new light on how obesity, type 2 diabetes, increases in autism, and Alzheimer's disease all connect back to the same source, to mercury poisoning. Early research and medical reason is just beginning to give us reason to believe first thimerosal and dental fillings, and now the rising tide of mercury pollution in the air, water and food could be involved in all of these diseases leading to an epidemic of debilitating disease the world has never known before. It has just been discovered that insulin is produced in the brain and that Alzheimer's patients have impaired insulin production in their brains. 

Insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1) and the neurotransmitter dopamine both stimulated folate-dependent methylation pathways in neuronal cells. At the same time they noted that compounds like thimerosal, ethanol and metals (like lead and mercury) effectively inhibited these same biochemical pathways at concentrations that are typically found following vaccination or other sources of exposure.

Equally vulnerable to mercury’s ruin are the receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) which are glycoproteins that transduce insulin’s extracellular signal to the cytoplasm of the cell. The effects of insulin are mediated by the insulin receptor (specific RTK for insulin). When insulin binds with its receptor the receptor activates and recruits a whole chain of downstream signaling processes. The RTK insulin receptor is comprised of two extracellular alpha chains disulfide-linked to two membrane-spanning beta chains. The three dimensional crystal structure of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1) receptor provides a clue to the complete vulnerability of humans when it comes to mercury’s destructive power that can lead to diabetes, and now we are seeing that this same pathway is contributing, perhaps greatly, to autism and other neurological disorders.

 The molecular structure of both IGF1 and the RTK insulin receptor sites are rich in cysteines and as such we find an array of disulfide-linked modules that mercury penetrates. Published studies from Northeastern University with thimerosal show that it inhibits the ability of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) to activate the enzyme methionine synthase. Decreased activity of IGF-1 signaling is associated with type 1 diabetes, particularly a failure of signaling in insulin-secreting beta islet cells.

If the geometry of the receptor has been changed by mercury the message that insulin has arrived to give the cell is not received.

Mercury is so dangerous exactly because it is collapsing/damaging critical sulfur-containing cross-linkages which change the geometry of both insulin receptor sites and insulin itself. Super dangerous thimerosal is ethyl-mercury mixed with aluminium in the vaccine and if anyone ever wanted to discover the ultimate elixir of death, they probably found it. Injecting millions of children with 150,000 trillion atoms of supercharged death particles (50 micrograms in two thimerosal containing vaccines still administered in most of the third world) is high insanity, surely the ultimate treason against a generation of children.

EPA experts acknowledge that there are tools available today that can measure the toxic dangers in any locality, and they are finding mercury everywhere. We have reached a milestone in human history. Awaiting each and every child born on the planet is a life doomed to being poisoned. Though many of us can, through enlightened reasoning, protect our children from the vaccine barbarians and the dental terrorists, who have the audacity to plant mercury a few inches from their patients brains, we have limited choices when it comes to mercury in the air our children breathe, in the water they drink nor in many of the foods they eat. There is a great rising tide of mercury and many other toxic chemical substances and the only answer we now have is individual treatment. Detoxification and chelation are the key concepts to mind in medicine and healthcare in the 21st century.

FDA Knew Dangers Of Thimerosal-Vaccines For 60 Years

Since the 1930s, mercury-based Thimerosal has been added to vaccines as a preservative to boost drug company profits by allowing vaccine makers to package in bulk instead of individual doses. According to newly discovered research, which was supported by a grant from the American Medical Association, government agencies have known for 60 years that Thimerosal was neither safe or effective, and that it should have been removed as a preservative in pharmaceutical products.

"For a long period mercurial compounds, such as bichloride of mercury, headed the list of chemical which were thought to be effective in the killing of microorganisms," it said. However, the authors basically state that Thimerosal as a preservative is useless, "It is not highly germicidal and especially does not possess high germicidal value in the presence of serum and other protein mediums. The loss of antibacterial activity of mercurials in the presence of serum proves their incompatibility with serum."

....... Cory-Slechta's team studied the effects of a mixture of two very common agrichemicals, the herbicide paraquat and the fungicide maneb. Each is used by farmers on millions of acres in the United States alone: Maneb is applied widely on such crops as potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce and corn, and paraquat is used on corn, soybeans, cotton, fruit, and a variety of other products. In the experiment, mice exposed to either one had little or no brain damage, but mice exposed to both share a significant trait with people in the very early stages of the disease: Though they appear healthy, key brain cells known as dopamine neurons are dying. The mice exposed to the mixture carried nearly all of the molecular hallmarks of Parkinson's disease as seen in humans. ..... The study is one of the first to examine the effects of such chemicals in tandem. Cory-Slechta notes that current regulations and determinations of safety levels are usually based on the effects of single chemicals. "In the real world, we're exposed to mixtures of chemicals every day. There are thousands upon thousands of combinations; I think what we have found is the tip of the iceberg," she says. "There are a dozen different fungicides related to maneb alone. I don't think we just happened to pick the right chemicals to see such an effect."........ "No one has looked at the effects of studying together some of these compounds that, taken by themselves, have little effect," says Cory-Slechta. "This has enormous implications." Currently scientists have little understanding of what causes Parkinson's, where a tiny group of dopamine-producing neurons deep within an area of the brain known as the substantia nigra die. This cell death leads to a shortage of the neurotransmitter dopamine and to the tremors, rigidity, and slow movement that mark the disease as it progresses slowly over a period of years or decades. Parkinson's affects about 1 million people in North America. .......
