Vitamin C - Study Finds Selective Action Against Cancer Cells
The National Academy of Sciences has published the abstract of a study to appear in the September issue of its Proceedings, stating that vitamin C, in sufficient concentration, will selectively kill cancerous cells, leaving normal tissue alone.
That is better than what can be said about chemotherapy drugs, which are wont to kill the patient while getting rid of the tumor. But don't think we will see surgeons administering vitamin C in mega doses any time soon - those important discoveries have a habit of disappearing in the memory hole after a while ... leaving pharmaceutical poisons as the "treatment of choice".
