It looks like an acute infection with 'HIV" is only occurring when arteries have remodelling and or lesions.
Anyone using poppers, cocaine, uppers like speed, meth, ecstasy, viagra will expand arteries and if you have HLA-DR genes it puts you at risk of being HIV+.
Pregnant women have massive retroviral involvement and arterial changes so they too, if HLA-DR, will be at risk [of a false positive result] from the test.
Vitamin D deficiency common in cancer patientsMore than three-quarters of cancer patients have insufficient levels of vitamin D (25-hydroxy-vitamin D) and the lowest levels are associated with more advanced cancer, according to a study presented on October 2, 2011, at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
Patients who were found to be vitamin D deficient were administered replacement therapy, increasing serum D levels by an average of 14.9 ng/mL. Investigators will be analyzing if vitamin D supplementation had an impact on aspects of treatment or survival in the long-term.
Whether or not that intervention of vitamin D supplementation turns out to be effective in actually curing cancer or mitigating its effects on the patient, certainly prevention, either by getting some sun exposure or by taking vitamin D in the winter months, or when you can't get into the sun, would seem to be a foregone conclusion.
European Food Safety Agency Additives Panel: Conflicts of InterestThe latest CEO/RES report found that two recently appointed members of the EFSA panel convened to assess food additives, including aspartame, failed to declare ongoing consultancy work for the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI). Hiding behind this innocuous name is a motley crew of Big Food’s dirtiest operators, including Hershey, McDonald’s, Nestlé, Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and Unilever. Are Monsanto's Days Numbered? 50+ Organizations Urging GMO Ban
A document signed by more than 50 civil society organizations (CSOs) is asking the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development scheduled to take place in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in June 2012, to ban the use of genetically modified foods.
Small-scale agroecological farming and other sustainable farming methods "developed in the framework of food sovereignty" currently feed about 70 percent of the world's population, cites the CSOs' document, stating that the UNCSD has an historical opportunity to eliminate world hunger, improve the environment and financial stability around the world by moving away from biotechnology.
The California GMO Ballot Initiative: Standing Up to MonsantoMonsanto and Food Inc.'s stranglehold over the nation's food and farming system is about to be challenged in a food fight that will largely determine the future of American agriculture. A growing corps of organic food and health activists in California - supported by consumers and farmers across the nation - are boldly standing up to Monsanto and its minions, taking the first steps to expose the widespread contamination of non-organic grocery store foods with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), and moving to implement mandatory GMO labeling through a grassroots-powered Citizens Ballot Initiative process.
This month, lawyers representing a broad and unprecedented health, environmental, and consumer coalition, including the Organic Consumers Association, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap, Center for Food Safety, Mercola.com, Nature's Path, Natural News.com, LabelGMOs.org, Food Democracy Now, and the Institute for Responsible Technology, are filing papers with the California Attorney General's office to place a Citizens Initiative on the Ballot in November 2012 that would require mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods and food ingredients. If California voters pass this ballot initiative in 2012, it will likely be the beginning of the end for Monsanto and genetically engineered food in the U.S.

IFOAM Requests UN Require Members To Label Genetically Modified FoodsThe International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) presented a special declaration October 1, 2011 to the United Nations, requesting that the international organization commit all of its member nations to a world without genetically modified foods and to identify existing GMO foods on product labels. The UN declaration was written in anticipation of the GMO Right2Know March which kicked off at the UN headquarters in New York on October 1 and will end at the White House on October 16.
